Privacy Policy for Green and Snow Studio apps

This policy applies to the apps published by Green and Snow Studio LLC - Reshi Krossvord, Slovokhot and BigBeat.

In short

No account, no personal data, and everything you do stays on your device. The two games show Google ads - matched to the app's content rather than to a profile of you, and removable with a one-time purchase. BigBeat carries no advertising at all.

Accounts and personal data

You do not need an account to play. We never ask for a name, an email address or a phone number, and we hold no record of you.

What stays on your phone

The app stores your crossword in progress, completed levels, scores, your coin balance and the date of your last daily reward. All of it lives inside the app on your device and is never sent to us.

Deleting the app deletes all of it.

BigBeat: heart rate and the Health app

This section concerns BigBeat only - the Apple Watch app.

To show your heart rate during a session and warn you when you leave your zone, the app asks the system for permission to two things: heart rate and date of birth. The date of birth serves one purpose - working out your age, and from it the boundaries of your zones. You may decline; the age is then entered by hand.

A finished session is written to your own Health app - the same place Apple Watch writes its workouts.

All of it stays with you. Neither your heart rate, nor your age, nor your session records are sent to us or leave the watch at all. BigBeat makes no network requests whatsoever and contains neither advertising nor third-party components.

You can withdraw the read and write permissions at any time in the Health app's settings.

Advertising

Ads are served by Google AdMob, and only in the two games - Reshi Krossvord and Slovokhot. They appear in two places: when you choose to watch one in exchange for coins, and between rounds in Slovokhot.

The ads are non-personalized. We ask Google to select ads based on the app's content and general technical signals - device type, country, language - rather than on what you have done in other apps and on other websites. No interest profile of you is used.

To serve an ad, Google receives technical information about the device and an approximate location derived from the network address. How Google handles that information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

The "Remove ads" purchase

The apps offer a one-time purchase that removes advertising permanently. It is handled by the store - the App Store or Google Play. We never see or store card numbers or payment details. The store tells the app one thing only - whether the purchase exists.

The purchase is tied to your store account and comes back on a new device. On iPhone and iPad there is a "Restore purchase" button for that; on Android the purchase is restored by itself when the app starts.

What leaves the device

The app contacts our server to download new crosswords. The request carries nothing about you: no name, no identifier, nothing about your game. All we receive is that a request was made.

The app sends nothing anywhere else.

If you report a problem

The apps include a button for reporting a problem. It opens your email app with a message prepared for you. Alongside your own text, the app adds a reference number, the app version, the operating system version and the device model - without those we cannot trace the fault.

You send the message yourself, from your own address. We will see that address, because otherwise we could not reply. Nothing beyond the contents of that message reaches us.

Children

These apps are not directed to young children, and we deliberately collect no information about anyone, children included.

Your rights

You may ask what data of yours we hold, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to support@greenandsnowstudio.com and we will reply within a day.

Usually there is nothing to act on: unless you have written to us, we hold no record of you at all.

Deleting your data

This concerns the apps published by Green and Snow Studio LLC - Reshi Krossvord, Slovokhot and BigBeat.

What is deleted by itself. Everything the app stores - your crossword in progress, completed levels, scores, coins, the date of your last daily reward, the record of your purchase - lives on your phone and goes when you delete the app. There is nothing to ask us for, and we have no access to any of it. The same holds for BigBeat: it carries no advertising, makes no network requests at all, and your heart rate and your finished sessions stay in your own Health app, where you can delete them yourself.

What can be deleted on request. If you have written to our support, we still hold your message and the address it came from. Write to support@greenandsnowstudio.com with "deletion" in the subject line - we will delete the correspondence and tell you it is done within one working day.

What remains. What Google's advertising system collects when it serves an ad is held by Google, not by us; you can delete it through your Google account. The "Remove ads" purchase stays in your store account - it is not our record, and it is the same thing that brings the purchase back on a new device.

We set no retention periods: we have no accounts and no database of players. The only thing that can be stored is correspondence, and it is deleted at your request.

Changes

We update this policy when the apps themselves change. The date at the top shows when it last happened.

The apps are published on the App Store under the name Igor Popov and on Google Play under the name Green and Snow Studio LLC. The rights to them belong to Green and Snow Studio LLC, registered in the State of Delaware, USA, which is also responsible for the handling of data described above.
